Informed Decisions topic; Data Management Fundamentals

Informed Decisions will have our own session presenting the fundamentals of data management. Most of us acknowledge that data is a vital asset in an organization. In a mature state, data management is an integrated practice covering accountabilities, design, distribution, and usages of data in a way that fits the organization’s purposes, and, complies to regulatory requirements. However, this is rarely the case as in most organizations data management is mostly separated into a narrowed part of IT work and intricately detailed work in the daily business.

This workshop is intended to provide delegates with the fundamental knowledge of data management best practices striving for consistent, reliable and accurate business data in an increasingly digitalized environment.  This one-day workshop combines presentations, exercises, and discussions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Having an understanding of the essential areas within Data Management
  • Insights into useful Data Management methods and techniques
  • Hearing about practical experiences in those methods and techniques
  • Understanding of how critical Data Management roles, procedures, and outcomes related to your organization, business processes and IT work
